Holmes County Antique Festival Souvenirs
The tumbler, above, was made by Imperial between 1970 and 1972 in their Aurora Jewels (cobalt) color. The name of the pattern is "Star Cut". Imperial used an old mold No. 406 as shown in Imperial's 1909 catalog.

These were made as souvenirs for the 1971 Holmes County Antique Festival in Millersburg, Ohio. The picture, to the right, shows the inscription added to the base of the tumbler. It reads "Holmes County Antique Festival 1971 Millersburg Ohio". In the center is an antique coffee grinder. The tumblers are also marked with Imperial's IG mark on the inside bottom.

Millersburg Ohio, home of the former Millersburg Glass Company, is located in Holmes county.

These plates were also made by Imperial to be souvenirs of the Holmes County Antique Festival.

The plate to the above left says "Holmes County Antique Festival -1972-, Millersburg, Ohio. In the center there is a depiction of a coffee grinder.

The plate to the above right says "Holmes County Antique Festival -1973-, Millersburg, Ohio. In the center there is a depiction of a spinning wheel.

For 1974, they also issued a souvenir plate in blue with a Pot Belly Stove as the center design.

The front of these plates has the center design and all over stippling. To the right is the back of each of these plates.

For the years 1975 thru 1978, they also issued souvenir plates but in these years they used a different glass maker, probably Wheaton of New Jersey. The blue plate above is typical of the 1975 thru 1978 plates and is a souvenir of the 1978 Holmes County Antique Festival. The front of the plate is plain as the pattern and lettering are on the back of the plate. The photo on the left is a close up of the front of the plate with the lettering on the back showing through. The photo on the right is of the back of the plate. The plates issued in 1975 thru 1978 were all issued with the coffee grinder center design and in the following colors: 1975 Yellow, 1976 Amberina, 1977 Green and 1978 Blue.
