Smooth Rays - Northwood
The aqua opal and green bowls above are examples of Northwood' Smooth Rays pattern. These seven inch bowls have a sawtooth edge. Five inch sauces have a smooth edge. Rare ten inch bowls have been found and an even rarer spatula footed bowl with Meander exterior is known.

Found in these bowls and also in a 2 handled bonbon and a six ruffle compote, many are easily identified as Northwood by the basketweave exterior as can be seen on the aqua opal bowl above. Many will also have the Northwood "N" mark on the button in the center. The green bowl above has a plain back and a poppy in the marie as shown to the left.

Also found in amethyst, blue and marigold.
