Propeller - Imperial
An early Imperial pattern, Propeller was made in many shapes in crystal but only a few shapes have been found in carnival. The carnival versions were made from at least three different molds. One was used to make 7 1/2 inch tall vases (above right), another to make the small compotes (right) which are about 3 inches tall and 5 inches across. Another compote is much larger, referred to as the giant, and is bowl shaped and 8 to 9 inches across. The vases and large compotes are typically just found in marigold, while the small compote can be found in other colors including: aqua, green, lime green and smoke. Colors other than marigold should be considered scarce.
