Plaid - Fenton
A unique pattern, unlike anything else in Carnival, with rays divided into small rectangular shapes creating a texture that reminds some people of a cross section of a log.

Typically found in ice cream shaped or ruffled bowls as shown above. Round flared bowls or bowls with 3-in-1 edging would be harder to find. Rare plates are also known. The exterior is plain, the edge is sawtooth and it has a collar base.

Bowls are predominantly found in blue or marigold. Colors such as amethyst, celeste blue, green, red and teal would be much rarer in the bowl shape. Plates are known in blue and marigold.
