Sunshine State Carnival Glass Assoc. Souvenirs - Summit

Not a real watch, of course, but it simulates a pocket watch in solid glass. The one pictured on the left is 2 3/4 inches tall and has a plain back and no makers mark. There are also 4-inch tall versions.

In 1999, the Sunshine State Carnival Glass Club used the 2 3/4 inch version as its convention souvenir. On the back was etched "SSCGA 1999" and then the number of the item out of 170 pieces made.

In 2000, the Sunshine State group issued another souvenir. This time a pair of seashell candleholders on a dolphin stem. They are etched "SSCGA 2000" on the bottom. This was originally a Cambridge mold and part of a larger line of seashell items. Imperial purchased Cambridge and when Imperial closed their molds were sold to various companies including Fenton and Summitt.
