Corn Bottles - Imperial
These 5-inch tall bottles usually were made with cork stoppers. Shown to the left are examples in marigold, smoke, and green.
The photo to the right is from a collection in New England and shows the rarer teal and white ones. |
Little Barrel - Imperial
These little bottles probably contained some sort of liquid, perhaps whiskey samples. A few have been found with labels, though none have been very informative. In 1998 a marigold bottle with a printed band circling the middle sold for $260. The bottles often have nicks on the top where the cork went in.
Colors found include green or Helios, marigold and smoke. |
