Butterfly and Tulip - Dugan
A large butterfly hovers in the center of a spray of tulips. The exterior pattern is Inverted Feather and Fan, also used on Dugan's Grape Arbor fruit bowl. These large bowls are often squared like this one to the upper left and bring excellent prices in purple. The center photo shows a marigold 2-sides up, or banana bowl shape. Fenton apparently acquired the mold and made ruffled bowls in various colors. The back of the new items has a diamond pattern.
