One doesn't find these 6 1/2 to 10 inch tall vases very often. They are blown vases and most have wheel-cut designs of balloons around the center. Some have other designs and some are plain.
When advertised in the 1927 Butlers Brothers catalog, they were listed at $8.50 a dozen. Although marked down from $11.40 a dozen, these are still some of the more expensive vases sold at the time. They are advertised as having amber and blue iridescent lusters. |
