Wheaton Presidents Plates - WheatonCraft, Millville NJ
Often when they produced a series of bottles, they produced a corresponding series of plates, such as the president's plates shown below. However these plates were only issued for those presidents assassinated while in office and thus include James Garfield, Abraham Lincoln, William Mckinley and John F. Kennedy. These plates are made in amethyst glass and measure eight inches across.
In the left photo, the plate says "1831 James A. Garfield 1861".

In the center photo, the plate says "Feb. 12, 1809 Abraham Lincoln Apr. 15, 1865".

In the right photo, the plate says "1843 William Mckinley 1901". It also has the Wheaton "W 75" trademark on the front.

The plate to the left says "May 29,1917 John Fitzgerald Kennedy Nov. 22, 1963". It also has the Wheaton "W 75" trademark on the front.

The photo in the center, is the John F. Kennedy plate in green. Typically these four presidents plates are found in amethyst. It also differs from the above JFK plate in that it does not have the Wheaton mark on the face of the plate. However, it does have "Wheaton Reg. No. embossed on the back rim.

On the back of each of these plates it says "Wheaton Reg. No." with an etched number as shown in the photo above. The plates also came with a form so that you could register your plate with Wheaton. Using the form below, you would send back the tab on the right with your information and thus be the registered owner of "No 0569" Lincoln Commemorative Plate. This also allowed Wheaton to mail you advertisements to purchase more.
