ACGA Carnival Glass Favors
The American Carnival Glass Association also produced appreciation awards that were handed out to convention attendees to honor them for their contributions to the club or to the convention. Individuals who wrote articles for the club newsletter or made a room display for a convention would have been the recipient of one of these awards.

These awards came with two different designs and two different colors. The first small plate has a depiction of the God and Home tumblers. The top of the tumbler reads "American Carnival Glass Association" and the center of the tumbler reads "In God We Trust". The second design is a circle with a shield inside of it. In the shield are the letters "ACGA". The tumbler version comes in both the amberina/red color and a cobalt blue. The shield is only found in the cobalt blue. Also the cobalt blue versions are marked on the back "JOS. ST. CLAIR".

These photos show the various years that the awards were handed out.

The first photo say "ACGA 76-77 ARTICLES" and was probably given to an individual who had writtten newsletter articles.

The next says "Award 1977-78". The next three say "1978-79", 1979-1980", and "1980-81".

The last two only say "81-82" and "86-87".

The dates on these plates give a good representation of the years in which the plates were awarded.
